Detail of a larger piece; this is the one part that can be moved around.

This piece was made with new wire and a whole bunch of random circular metal objects found in an old barn I helped to partially deconstruct as part of a class at Yestermorrow.
The one dangling circle can be moved along the slot in the larger brass piece it is attached to.
Originally, this piece, and two others, were going to be part of the surface of the shade structure we built, but the design changed so we didn't need them, and I brought them home.
